Great pension / inn with a wonderful panoramic view We spent four days at Gasthaus Kohlhiasl and were able to relax very well here. Our room with a balcony offered us a wonderful view of the Jenner, Watzmann, Hohes Brett and Co. The room was very clean and typically Bavarian. There was nothing wrong with the breakfast. From scrambled eggs to muesli everything was plentiful. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We also liked the beer garden and the food. I can recommend the Kohlhiasl without hesitation.

A large beer garden. It was very busy but still the service was very friendly. Although she was just running. The food was very tasty. You have a fantastic view of the mountains

Good pension. Near Königssee. This is the 1st time here during Corona times. When that's over, it'll be even more beautiful here. We'd love to come back

We spend our vacation here. Nice rooms with shower. Breakfast good and sufficient. The menu for lunch and dinner is very good and varied. Very friendly staff 👍 Always worth a trip.

Spontaneously went there today, as I had fond memories of the inn from previous visits. Despite no reservation, there was a seat and the service was heartwarming again, despite the mask 😊 food was again great and plentiful and the price was very reasonable. Gladly again 😊

We have been there the last two times over New Year's Eve and have already reserved for the next one. The location is great it is quiet, mountains all around and you are super fast at the Königsee or other great places worth seeing. Very familiar and dogs are also welcome. You have everything you need. We look forward to coming again.

Very pleasant guesthouse

Friendly staff, nice beer garden and restaurant. Was nicely situated from Königssee, served by bus from the stop outside the hotel, or else a nice walk. Downside was the German style pillows offered, which are akin to sleeping on a large cow's bladder yet nowhere near as comfortable.
